During the production process of polypropylene fibers, color is the most intuitive indicator of quality. Polypropylene color masterbatch, as a specialized coloring material, uses polypropylene as the carrier, scientifically blending high-concentration pigments and dispersing aids. Through processes such as melting, mixing, and granulation, it is manufactured. It integrates coloring and functionality, providing uniform and stable color performance for fiber products.

The pigments in the color masterbatch have undergone multiple grinding and dispersion processes, with fine particle sizes and uniform distribution in the carrier. During production, they are mixed with polypropylene chips in proportion and melted together. For the same formula but different batches of color masterbatches, the color difference is controlled within a certain range, facilitating continuous color matching management during the production process.

The carrier resin specially designed for polypropylene spinning has good compatibility with the pellets, and the melt index matches the conventional spinning process. The color masterbatch incorporates efficient lubrication and dispersion components, which have good fluidity in the screw and are less prone to pigment agglomeration or filter screen blockage. The pressure of the spinning components rises slowly, the component replacement cycle is extended, the breakage rate is reduced, and the production process is more smooth. 

Weather-resistant and non-migratory, with long-lasting color

The Polypropylene color masterbatch uses heat-resistant and light-resistant pigments of appropriate grades. It can withstand the high-temperature melting environment during the polypropylene spinning process and does not decompose or fade. After coloring, the fibers maintain good color under long-term exposure to light, washing or friction; the pigment molecules are firmly combined with the polypropylene matrix, and are not prone to migration, precipitation or staining, meeting the requirements for color fastness in applications such as outdoor fabrics and automotive interiors. 

Comprehensive functions, multiple effects per dose

In addition to the conventional red, yellow, blue, black, and white color series, the polypropylene color masterbatch can also be combined with functional additives such as UV resistance, flame retardancy, and antibacterial properties to achieve integration of coloring and functionality. Through the collaborative use of functional masterbatches and color masterbatches, multiple characteristics can be imparted to the fibers without increasing the process steps, thereby expanding the application scope of the products.
