Polypropylene Masterbatch is a functional colorant designed for the processing requirements of polypropylene (polypropylene) materials. First, put the colorant, carrier resin and dispersion aid into the high-speed mixer and stir until the components are uniform. Subsequently, the mixture is sent into a twin-screw extruder and melted and mixed within the temperature range suitable for polypropylene processing, allowing the colorant to fully integrate into the carrier resin. Finally, after cooling and shaping, it is cut into granules to form granular finished products. During production, the extrusion temperature and screw speed must be strictly controlled to prevent the colorant from becoming ineffective due to excessively high temperatures or the dispersion effect from being affected by insufficient shear force.

In terms of performance, the key indicators of polypropylene masterbatch focus on color stability and practicality. It needs to have excellent color fastness, including light fastness and wash fastness. When used in polypropylene textile products, it can resist fading caused by sun exposure and washing. The compatibility with polypropylene must meet the standards, and the mechanical properties such as the breaking strength and toughness of polypropylene should not be reduced after mixing. At the same time, it should have good processing fluidity, be able to smoothly integrate into the polypropylene spinning or injection molding process, and not clog the equipment.

In the production of polypropylene fibers, it can be added to the spinning raw materials to color polypropylene filaments and short fibers, and is used to make textile fabrics and home textile products.
